My mother has been in critical condition in the ICU for the past week. She's been suffering from Multiple Myeloma (coupled with Gaucher's Disease) and things are touch and go at this point.
If you're wondering why I've been blogging very little lately, this is the reason.
Update 3/31:
My family and I have decided to let my mother pass on, and she's been off life support for the past five days. We're all with her as she continues on to her next journey...

i am so sorry, sweetie. my dad just passed away Feb. 11 from lung cancer. what a beautiful woman your mom was. She will always be in your heart and there truly is comfort in knowing she is in a better place.
i will keep you and your family in my prayers...
